YCARS recently participated in, and successfully executed three exhilarating events that left participants, volunteers, and spectators buzzing with excitement. These events showcased the dedication and passion of YCARS members while highlighting their invaluable radio communication support.
The first event, the Mike Doty 5k/10k, was a resounding success. Participants laced up their running shoes and hit the roads and scenic trail of Ft. Mill. YCARS members equipped with their radio expertise, and the support of Rock Hill Police Department and their mobile command center, ensured flawless communication throughout the event, guaranteeing the safety and smooth coordination of all involved. The energy was infectious, and the event concluded with jubilant smiles, high-fives, and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.
Next on the YCARS calendar was the vibrant St. Philip Neri Italian Festival. In the spirit of honoring the past, YCARS supported the Remember the Ancestors 5k, a race that paid tribute to those who came before us.
